Project Origin is a venture studio that builds ventures at the intersection of science, culture, and art. We document the process of building each venture, and each project is launched together with a full documentary that shows the behind-the-scenes of what it really took to build it.

What have we created so far?

We are deep into building our first venture - A 5-part documentary series featuring cultural voices, recognised thinkers from Oxford University and leaders from world-renowned companies. Our second venture is already underway - an impact scorecard that scores any product idea against a clear set of criteria that determines whether the idea has a positive or potentially negative impact on the world.

We are already working on our second in-house venture: An Impact Scorecard. It’s an online tool that scores any product idea against a clear set of criteria that determines whether the idea has a positive or potentially negative impact on the world. Does it make people more capable over time, or does it create dependency? Does it have positive second-order effects on the world? You fill in a short form, and you get a breakdown of how your idea holds up.This can be used by any founder who cares about the impact their product makes.
